In the Val d'Azun, between Argelès-Gazost and Arrens-Marsous, Corinne and Olivier invite you to taste a 'creative' regional cuisine. Thick stone walls, lacey façades, flowered terrace or cosy dining room... Nothing is missing making sure that the highland atmosphere is warm and friendly in the Moulins Inn.
You will appreciate the talents of the kitchen Chef who adores cuisine and cakemaking, and the lovely smile of his wife. They really do want to spoil you, and you only have to leaf through the menu to see how difficult the choice is.

For starters : ... garbure soup, it's worth a try ! And it's the occupants of Val d'Azun who say this... !
Gasconne board with it's choice of cold meats, or homemade foie gras perfumed with Armagnac and served with a glas of Bi-Dou-Rey (Jurançon white wine). In the winter, it is served with a slice of warm bread.
Try aumônière duck confit with honey and spices, or a duck stew served with fresh tagliatelle...

For fish, let yourself be tempted with the pan cooked scallops or burbot served with a red pepper sauce and vegetable flaky pastry.
Mountagnou or Regional menu, the suggeston of the day will have a thousand and one suprises, whether savoury or sweet. For the little ones, a Kiddies menu offers, as well as the usual 'steak and chips', a country omelette or salmon tagliatelle, a choice to introduce 'tasty and flavourful' cuisine. And of course... Corinne's surprise.

For Olivier and his experience as Cuisine Chef for 15 years in reputed restaurants such as the Plazza Athénée, Flo Prestige, three years spent in the Antilles mastering the use of spices.
His desserts are «Homemade», they change every day, he is a real magicien.
Try his Ravioles of Crêpes Suzette à l’Orange, his Tante Kiki nems, his Joséphine Baker Truffines….

The Moulins Inn organise family parties. For weddings, the decoration is free, the cake is offered for birthdays if ordered 48 hours in advance... Dining room with fireplace, capacity 60 people, midday and evening (except Wednesdays outside school holidays). Terrace and barbeque in the summer. Specialities to takeaway (garbure soup, pigeon, blanquette, couscous, paella…) on demand all year round.
