Salles-Argelès, charming small village resting on the Pibeste massif, at 700m altitude, has at least three items of interest, it's Roman style church from the XIII century, endowed with a magnificent altarpiece, a rennovated fortified square tower and it's sawmill constructed in 1925 with it's ancient watermills where generations utilised it's mechanics to cut raw wood.

In the same village, Bernard and Sandrine have rennovated an ancient southfacing barn, to create to spacious gîtes, suitable for large families. Each one has a large living room, with chimney and a fully equipped American-style kitchen where you can live as you want.

Where to find Salles-Argeles on the map
At Lourdes, take the RN 21, direction Argelès-Gazost. At 300m after the village of Agos-Vidalos, take the Ouzous, Salles direction on your right. Go through the village of Ouzous direction Salles. Once at Salles, take a left (la Mairie square). It's the first on the right.
